Mental Fitness Exercises Workshop Kinesiology Solutions for Learning & Performance Enhancement As an instructor of Kinesiology Lyn teaches health professionals and the general public Neuro-Linguistic Kinesiology International® (NLK). This course is registered and accredited with the Australian Kinesiology Association and covers a diverse range of topics that includes the remedial corrective techniques from the Mental Fitness Exercises programme. For the first time in NSW the Mental Fitness Exercise programme (MFE) is now available to all teachers, educators, parents and carers interested in further supporting successful learning and performance, with out having to study the first level of the NLK module Links to Learning and Performance. The Mental Fitness Exercise Programme is a half day workshop that supports all teaching programmes and consists of techniques that offer useful and practical strategies to implement quality learning solutions. The programme is both practical and theoretical, insuring that all attendees are confident in using the techniques. The great news is by implementing these fast and simple self-help techniques you will be supporting all your students, and their learning and performance outcomes will improve significantly. Why do some children do so well at school while others do not? There are many reasons and causes some of them are in the past ie. physical or emotional trauma, and some present ie. environmental stress, emotional stress, nutritional deficiencies, allergies and neurological disorganisation and imbalances. The Mental Fitness Exercise Workshop addresses these issues with dietary and nutritional guidance, allergy and intolerance testing and by working with the neurological, physiological, cognitive and bio-energetic relationships. MFE promotes whole brain learning through integrative movements and stimulation of reflexes and acu-points that relate directly to the function of the brain and body for enhanced learning and performance, allowing individuals to access areas of the brain previously unavailable to them. The changes in learning, performance and behaviour are often immediate and profound, as learners are now able to receive information and express themselves simultaneously. They are recommended for anyone who wants to improve the quality of living, learning and performance and realize their full potential. History of the Programme Mental Fitness Exercise Programme is a series of remedial techniques that supports Neuro-Linguistic Kinesiology, it has a reputation for providing assistance throughout Australia and New Zealand. Kinesiology is being used worldwide, and is perhaps most know for its excellent results with people who suffer from learning and performance difficulties. In 1991 the United States learning Foundation (branch of the White House) nominated a Kinesiology modality as one of the two most successful innovative learning programmes. The authors of the NLK Mental Fitness Exercises book Wendy Bennett and Marion Miller are experts in the field of Kinesiology and Learning and Performance. They further developed the MFE techniques from their research and backgrounds and synthesised them in to their current format from ancient disciplines such as yoga, acupuncture and extensive research undertaken from developmental specialists and physicians who experimented with using physical movement to enhance learning ability. The MFE Programme was then modified and adapted to the special needs of our society and educational system offering a safe and drug free alternative for those suffering from learning difficulties, dyslexia, ADHD and ADD.
