Aims and Objectives of the Course
The aims and objectives of the course a three fold. Firstly to introduce you to Kinesiology as a tool for your own personal development and health building. Secondly by imparting both the skills and knowledge that will enable students to become competent and confident. Thirdly to provide a training programme for people who intend to set up in business as Kinesiology practitioners, or who wish to use Kinesiology as an adjunct to other health modalities in areas such as teaching, personal training and coaching, in fact any area where creating healthy changes and performance enhancement is applicable.

History of the Course
Neuro-Linguistic Kinesiology International® (NLK) was developed by Wendy Bennett the Director of the Kinesiology College of SA and former president of the South Australian Kinesiology Association. With over 20 years of expertise Wendy developed NLK, a professional branch of a wholistic healing system that aims to include aspects prevalently used throughout Kinesiology and the ingenuity of another therapy called Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). NLK incorporates NLP's effective techniques in communication, the power and use of language and specific goal setting strategies. NLK was the first Kinesiology modality to introduce testing of the primitive and postural reflexes to further facilitate improvement in learning and performance, making Neuro-Linguistic Kinesiology International® a highly regarded and respected training in the field of Kinesiology.

Techniques and Assessments
Neuro-Linguistic Kinesiology uses a broad cross section of assessment procedures utilising muscle monitoring to examine the neurological, chemical and respiratory function, muscle and organ function, sacral, spinal and cranial function, primitive and postural reflexes, the meridians and various energy systems, allergy and food intolerances, psycho-emotional and behavioural patterns and subconscious blocks. This analysis determines what is blocking the client from achieving their goal. The innovative combination of assessment procedures and techniques result in NLK being remarkably diverse and multifaceted in its application and outcomes.
